At Fraternitas Lodge No. 6046, we place friendship at the centre of everything we do.
We are a welcoming Masonic Lodge meeting in Rainham, bringing together like-minded men from across Medway and Kent who value friendship, personal development, and giving something back to the community.
Established in 1945, our Lodge has a proud history within the Province of East Kent, built on strong foundations of commitment, charity and tradition. Today, we continue to thrive as a modern and friendly Lodge that combines the traditions of Freemasonry with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, remaining true to our core values of Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Service.
We meet at the Howard Memorial Hall in Wigmore, Rainham, and are proud to play an active role within the local community. While our history is important to us, our focus is firmly on the present, creating an environment where new members feel comfortable, get involved, and build lasting friendships from their very first visit.
Whether you are completely new to Freemasonry, simply curious, or actively considering joining, you will be made to feel at ease from the moment you arrive.
The best way to understand Freemasonry is to experience it for yourself.

Many of our current members started in exactly the same way.
From its earliest days, Freemasonry has helped orphans, the sick, the aged, and a wide range of other deserving causes. This work continues today, with our members freely giving their time and expertise to help raise money for charities at local, national and international levels. Thanks to this effort, we’re one of the largest charitable givers in the country – in 2024/25 we donated over £27 million to good causes.
Our Lodge has supported many local charities, recently this support has included donations to Step and Learn, The Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance, Cancer Research UK, The British Heart Foundation, The Kenward Trust, Local Gillingham Sea Scouts and The Cornwallis East Kent Freemasons Charity
In a wider setting the Province of East Kent, are particularly lucky to have many members who are dedicated to supporting our charitable activities – from helping feed the homeless to organising summer barbeques and quiz nights, there’s always plenty happening.
