20yrs with a small break.

What is your biggest fear?

Not reaching my potential – or spiders!

If you were to be stranded on a Desert Island, who would you like to accompany you and why?

Monty Halls – I think he’d be quite handy and I saw him give a talk once, very interesting – or Nigella Lawson!

If you were to be stranded on a Desert Island, what 3 items would you most like to have?

Satellite radio (for music), the complete works of Shakespear and my reading glasses.

If you have a superpower, what would it be and why?

To fly, because the views would be fantastic.

And your Guilty Pleasure is?

So many!

If you could invite 3 people (dead or alive) to dinner, who would they be?

Ayrton Senna, Sir Norman Foster, Marc Newson (Industrial Designer).

What would you spend your last £20 on?

Petrol.

What event in history would you have like to have seen?

The signing of the Armistice at the end of the First World War.

Do you possess a unique talent or skill?

Nope, bog standard me.

What would be your favourite meal?

Beef Wellington, dauphinoise potatoes. (or pot noodle).

What is the Best life advice you’ve received?

You aren’t learning anything when you’re talking – Lyndon B Johnson I believe.

What would be the first three tracks on your life playlist?

1. Telegram Sam – T Rex, War of the Worlds.

2. Jeff Wayne’s 1978 Album, scared the poop out of me as a 8yr old.

3. This town aint big enough for the two of us – Sparks.

If you could instantly master any skill, what would it be?

To stop talking and start learning.

Name a place on your travel bucket list and why?

Daytona Beach, Florida – to watch the Daytona 500 (NASCAR). 

Describe your ideal day off.

An early morning drive to the airport to go and see the above.

What’s a movie that never gets old for you, and why?

Cannonball Run – Come on, just look at that cast.

Most fascinating place you’ve visited?

St Paul’s Cathedral.

Most cherished childhood memory?

As an older child, working on cars in the Garage with Dad.
