Fraternitas Lodge will host a Blue Table evening at the Howard Hall on Wednesday, 5th June 2024, starting at 5:30 PM with doors opening at 5:00 PM.
A Blue Table meeting warmly welcomes men who are non-Masons, including prospective candidates, to explore Freemasonry before considering initiation. Upon admission to the Lodge Room, Masons will maintain regalia, but the lodge’s elements will remain closed and not displayed. While the agenda is yet to be formalised, it typically includes a lecture on Freemasonry, encompassing its history, traditions, and charitable endeavours. Additionally, there may be a brief overview of officers and the regalia worn by Masons, followed by an opportunity for non-Masons to engage with present Masons through questions.
This meeting is inclusive and open to all, providing an opportunity for any Lodge to invite prospective candidates. For instance, Fraternitas Lodge anticipates hosting several prospective candidates, while other Lodges have expressed interest in sending their members and potential candidates. All are welcome to attend!
Following formalities in the Lodge Temple, we will convene at the bar and await dinner service. This gathering provides an opportunity for all present to interact, fostering camaraderie and offering additional chances for non-Masons and prospective candidates to ask further questions and enjoy the typical post-Masonic meeting dining experience.
