On Friday 6th February, members of The Fraternitas Lodge No. 6046 enjoyed a fantastic evening together at Spice Fusion for one of our regular Fraternitas Friday social events, and it proved to be a tremendous success.
A total of 18 people attended, including Lodge members and their partners, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere from the moment everyone arrived. The evening was relaxed, friendly, and filled with good conversation, laughter, and excellent food.
Social gatherings such as this are an important part of Lodge life. While our regular meetings provide the formal structure of Freemasonry, evenings like this allow members and their families to spend time together in a more informal setting, strengthening friendships and enjoying each other’s company outside the Lodge room.
The Curry Night formed part of our Fraternitas Friday events, which we try to organise regularly throughout the year. These informal occasions are designed to bring Brethren, partners, and friends together for relaxed evenings of friendship and fellowship, whether that be over a meal, a drink, or another shared activity.
Spice Fusion provided a superb meal and warm hospitality, and the restaurant proved to be the perfect setting for the evening. The combination of great food, good company, and a relaxed atmosphere made the night thoroughly enjoyable for everyone who attended. It was particularly pleasing to see members’ partners joining us, helping to bring the wider Lodge family together.
Such was the success of the evening, and the quality of the meal, that plans have already been made to return. We are delighted to confirm that our next Fraternitas Friday Curry Night at Spice Fusion will take place on Friday 27th March, and we hope even more members and friends will be able to join us.
Events like this are a wonderful reminder that Freemasonry is not only about meetings and ceremonies, but also about friendship, fellowship, and spending enjoyable time together.
