On Saturday, 15th March, the Fraternitas Lodge hosted an unforgettable Race Night at the Howard Hall, and what a night it was! The venue was packed with excited punters, all eager to place their bets and cheer on their chosen horses. The atmosphere was electric as each of the eight races unfolded, with the crowd erupting in applause and cheers as the results came in.
Adding to the thrill of the evening, we also hosted three exciting games of bingo, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats as they nervously waited for their numbers to be called. Alongside the racing and bingo, raffle tickets were sold throughout the night, offering guests the chance to win some fantastic prizes, further adding to the excitement and fundraising efforts.
Through the collective generosity and support of everyone in attendance, we raised £800 for Masonic charities. This incredible amount will go a long way in supporting the charitable efforts we hold dear as Freemasons, demonstrating the strength of our brotherhood and our commitment to helping those in need.
A huge thank you to all who attended, placed bets, bought bingo and raffle tickets, and contributed to the evening’s success. Special thanks also go to those who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to organise the event, ensuring everything ran smoothly. We are also incredibly grateful to those who kindly donated raffle prizes, helping to make the evening even more enjoyable and rewarding for all.
